W. R. Hicks, B&O Historical Society
Crossing Jones Falls Valley, the Belt was part of a skein of railroad lines as well as a unique triple crossing at North Avenue. Approaching North Avenue in 1940, the westbound (downgrade) Capitol Limited runs on non-electrified Track 2 over the PRR’s Union Station coach yard.
