Locomotive Rosters & Records of Builder's Construction Numbers
The Society has locomotive rosters for many railroads and records of steam locomotive construction numbers for most builders. Copies are available to members at 25 cents per page ($5.00 minimum) and to non-members at 40 cents per page ($5.00 minimum) from R&LHS Archives Services, PO Box 600544, Jacksonville, FL 32260-0544. A list of available rosters is $2.00.
R&LHS marked a digital milestone when JSTOR (an acronym for Journal Storage) released a searchable archive of the Railway and Locomotive Historical Society Bulletin (1921-1972) and Railroad History (1972-2009). Although R&LHS publications were already available from Proquest and in the America: History and Life database, neither of these options allow for keyword searching or the delivery of content in PDF format. Here is how members can logon JSTOR.
Back Issues of Railroad History
Many issues of Railroad History and its predecessor the R&LHS Bulletin are available to members at a discount.
