  • Photographer Christopher Jacobsmeyer not only shoots trains with his Minolta XE-7 film camera, he also carries with him a recently purchased Polaroid 195 camera that he was testing out on the 4014. Christopher uses the negative of the Polaroid film to scan and make digital manipulations in Photoshop. (November 16, 2013).   • November 24, 2013. We are getting down to the last few pulls as the panel track is now only a few hundred feet from the point of where it will exit the Pomona Fairplex parking lot. A small section of rail is on stand-by for filling in an anticipated gap in the rail.   • January 26, 2014. It is 1:50 a.m. on a Sunday morning, UP's Southern Pacific Heritage diesel 1996 arrives on the scene to pull 4014 from the Pomona Fairgrounds. Ed Dickens is seen on the front of UP 1996 keeping a watchful eye on the track. Track crews begin slicing the rails of Metrolink's San Bernardino mainline in preparation of sliding them a few feet south to connect the panel track where the 4014 awaits to make its escape from the Pomona Fairgrounds. The 4014 has been displayed there for the last 52 years at the Railroad & Locomotive Historical Society’s compound. All eyes of the crewmen are on the ridged truck frame of the massive tender as it negotiates a tight curve in the siding.   • Union Pacific crews are moving donated diesel locomotive UP 3105, an EMD SD 40-2c, to the Railroad & Locomotive Historical Society's compound at the Pomona Fairgrounds.
